Don’t let the waterfall, shops and gaudy carpet carpet fool you Singapore Changing is a disaster to travel through. Forests of signs, unhelpful counter staff, impersonal screen directions and and a confusing number of terminals. Changing ought to be basking in the pit with dear old LHR

Having flown internationally to Vancouver Airport more than 20 times since 1979, I have seen it develop into the best airport in North America. I feel Tampa Airport also deserves a mention.
Doha may be a good airport when you get into it, but last year on our way to and from Australia, 3 out of the 4 flights involved had to use remote stands. After one of the flights, it actually took 50 minutes to get into the terminal building from the time of arriving at the remote stand.

LHR really?! Changi and Schiphol easily the best. Dubai and HKIA are easily in the top 5. Haneda is a zoo! Overcrowded and too small.

LHR as the best of anything is a complete joke. I avoid LHR whenever possible.

The sentence about difficulty in LHR if you have to transfer to or from Terminal 5 to the other terminals should disqualify LHR from any top 10 list. When traveling to Europe I will do about anything to avoid LHR and it’s antiquated system of stairs and buses to transfer between terminals and not to mention multiple layers of security. There is no time to enjoy most of the amenities, the only hope is not to miss you connecting flight.

Having been 2:47 AND 1:30 (hours/minutes) in LHR’s Passport Control on two separate occasions, Im not sure I would include this in any Top 10, except perhaps worst. The new IST might be a better inclusion?

Heathrow is a nightmare. Overcrowded, and terrible transfers by bus between terminals. Should not be part of top 10, and definitively does not compare with Changi or Vancouver.
